If you are recharging Gel Cell batteries the battery manufacturer’s charging voltage is critical if you don’t want to ruin your battery. In most cases, standard deep-cycle chargers can not be used as the higher charging voltages and algorithms are different. This can cause damage to your battery greatly decreasing the life of the battery.
