Improve Cell Phone Battery Gauges
Texas Instruments has been working on a new chip that will go into your cell phone to tell you down to the minute how much battery life you have left before your cell phone dies. As the new chip monitors more than just the voltage of your battery it is far more accurate. Texas Instruments says that it is within 1% of the actual charge left in the battery. This will allow us to better monitor when we need to charge our battery and to reduce wear and tear on our phones and ease some serious frustration when you’re on the phone and it dies in mid conversation. Sorry parents it still won’t help us with teenagers talking all of their friends ears off.
