Something to consider, especially if you do a lot of camping, hiking, hunting, etc is to purchase a solar charger for your batteries. Something you must realize however; the more you are in the shade the less it will charge your batteries. However many of the current chargers are water resistant and will recharge your AA, AAA, C, and D batteries in 6 hours of direct sunlight. On days where you are less in the sun your charger will take longer.
